TheClassifieds was founded in 2005 as a free online classifieds provider that offers a customer orientated alternative to the spam and scam ridden services at large in the South African market. A few short years later and TheClassifieds has grown to be one of the most popular classifieds sites in the country. Not satisfied with simply succeeding in the South African market however, TheClassifieds soon expanded elsewhere on the African continent and now offers their service to Kenya, Nigeria, Mauritius and the Seychelles.

Jonathan Page

Jonathan is the Managing Director, the head honcho, the Captain Kirk (or Picard - this is an argument that could go on forever) and the Maverick of TheClassifieds. He spends his days keeping the company running just right, making sure the kids are doing their work and, most often, stalking around the office with a large bat trying to keep our pet Ninja under control. In his spare time he does...well, we're not entirely sure on all the details. For all we know, he could be Batman. All we do know is that he has a gorgeous wife and a son on the way. He will not be named Han.

Cameron Olivier

Cameron is the man in charge of all the "designy codey dirty work" around here. He spends his days making things pretty, functional and bemoaning the fact that he only has two monitors to work on. Just don't try and talk to him while he has his headphones on or you'll end up standing there looking like you're talking to yourself. Outside of work, Cameron is the office social butterfly. He has real friends whom he spends time with often. Cam does have to divide his time between his friends and his children, a gorgeous little girl and his precious iPhone.

Tara Lawson

Tara handles the helpdesk and blogs, chats too much to our users and gets sent on epic quests for, well, milk and stuff. She only has one monitor. This does not bother her. Tara's desk is also home to a CCNA book which she swears she will get around to studying. The book has been there long enough to be a grandparent. Once she leaves the office, Tara does absolutely nothing that her parents might call productive. She blogs about silly things she finds online and plays video games.
